The Details
This is your rally, your route!
So, you can hit all the places that we suggest, OR you may want to check out other places along the way and go on a different route while still ending up at the same finish line destination.
Here are suggestions of what you can see each day for each route. We’ll see where the road takes you! Find a more in-depth breakdown of suggestions for each day here.
Day 1: We’re heading to Phoenix to kick off the first day of the trip, and making sure to drive and stop along historic Route 66. Old Town Scottsdale is always a favorite spot when we’re in Phoenix!
Day 2: Sedona is one of my favorite places, so we’ll be leaving Phoenix early to spend the whole day there! They have amazing hiking trails, along with a cool town, and lots of great restaurants.
Day 3: Head on to The Grand Canyon from Sedona, or go straight up to Lake Powell if you have already seen the Grand Canyon. Both are fantastic options!
Day 4: We’ll be spending the whole day in Page, which is right by Lake Powell. You’ll for sure want to make reservations at Antelope Canyon, and check out Horseshoe Bend, and Glen Canyon Dam while you’re here.
Day 5: From here we’re heading to Monument Valley, and then onto Moab, Utah. We’ll check out both Arches National Park, and Canyonlands National Park the next morning.
Day 6: Onto Vail! After spending the morning at Canyonlands National Park, we’ll start the drive to Vail, Colorado, and spend the rest of the day/evening there.
Day 7: For the final destination, we are heading to Evergreen! Check out Denver, hang out with us that evening, and then check out the Adventure Van Expo if you’re still in town the next day.
