Introducing the Inaugural Vanhalla Rally
Are you ready to embrace the open road, explore America’s most iconic destinations, and experience adventure like never before? The Vanhalla Rally is here, and it’s ready to take you on the journey of a lifetime! This isn’t just another road trip – it’s the ultimate social rally, designed to bring together adventurers from all walks of life for an unforgettable experience.
The Vanhalla Rally is a series of two, family-friendly, self-drive rally events that span across the United States. Each rally is a seven-day adventure covering at least three states, 1000 miles, and takes you through some of the country’s most breathtaking landscapes. Along the way, you’ll explore hidden gems, make lifelong friends, and connect with other van lifers, RVers, and road-trippers.
For our inaugural rally in 2025, we’re offering two incredible routes that will take you through the heart of some of America’s most iconic locations.
Route 1: West Coast Wow
Start Line: Bakersfield, California
Finish Line: Hood River, Oregon [Adventure Van Expo]
Total Miles: 1,189 miles in 7 days
Get ready for an adventure like no other as you travel from the sunny shores of California to some of the most beautiful landscapes on the West Coast. The West Coast Wow route will take you through rugged coastlines, towering redwoods, and picturesque national parks. Along the way, you’ll stop at three epic checkpoints where you’ll have the chance to connect with fellow participants, share stories, and talk around the campfire!

The Vegas to Vail route is the ultimate mix of desert landscapes, towering mountains, and unforgettable views. Starting in the neon lights of Las Vegas, this route will take you through the heart of the American Southwest and into the Rocky Mountains. Expect rugged desert terrain, stunning mountains, and plenty of surprises along the way.

Here’s what you can expect:
Two Unforgettable Routes: The West Coast Wow kicks off in June in southern California and travels up Highway 1 into Oregon. You’ll tick off Big Sur, The Golden Gate Bridge, Napa Valley, Redwood National Park, Crater Lake National Park, and more! Our second route starts in July in Las Vegas and ends in Vail, Colorado. You’ll experience Sedona’s Red Rocks, The Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Moab, Vail, and more!
Epic Checkpoints & Events: Along the way, you’ll stop at three themed checkpoints on each route, where you’ll have the chance to connect with fellow participants, share stories, and enjoy a little fun around the campfire.
Charity Activities: We will be supporting multiple charities during our 2025 events including raising funds for those affected by natural disasters, veterans in need, and also to charities in wildlife conservation. We encourage all teams to support the causes, as well as supporting a charity of their choice. A fundraising leaderboard, prizes and hands-on charity projects will be announced shortly!
The Adventure Van Expo: Each rally will end at the Adventure Van Expo (Hood River, and Evergreen) for a weekend of camping with the van-life community, making for an unforgettable grand finale.
